We now feature Windows Vista and Office 2007!

As a service to the Salem community we take pride in offering FREE Wireless access for those that bring their own wireless devices. The connection is through high speed DSL and is unrestricted. The Blue Pepper has 12 high speed "zero footprint" computers with full unrestricted Internet access. As a fully registered Microsoft Partner we are able to equip each station with the most current software packages available and all other products necessary to make your user experience the best it can be.
Our computers are running the latest Windows Vista Business Edition Operating System, featuring Internet Explorer 7.0. For your protection and ours, all of our computers are also running AVG Enterprise virus and email scanners, and Spy Doctor and Microsoft Windows Defender anti-spy software. We feature the newest Microsoft Office 2007 Suite, Adobe Reader and Web authoring tools.
For those that need to rent time on our machines each user can log on using one of the pay methods shown in the table below.

Play and Pay 10 cents per minute Users who only need to check their email or spend a short time (15 minutes or less) at the computer. It's simple -- you play, then pay!

Pre-Pay 30 minutes for $3.00

Users who wish to surf the net, or complete small projects using the MS Office Suite.

Heavy users that want a personalized internet experience. We know that your time is valuable, so we have created this cost-effective and popular account just for you -- access our machines for longer periods of time, without needing to frequently top-up! Simply ask our friendly counter staff how they can help you set up your own user account.

Computer Printing Charges For paying users a 4 minute per page charge is deducted from your purchased time N/A

Our computers do have support for direct "floppy disks" and will support most external USB devices, as well as direct access to your flash USB jump drives.

Whether you are just taking 10 minutes to check you email or are working on a lengthy project our café is a full service coffee and deli bar! We proudly serve custom blended coffees and espressos, supplied by Portland Roasting Company^Ž in Portland, Oregon -- all of our coffee products and syrups are organic and free trade, certified by Farm Friendly Direct. To compliment our coffees and teas we offer fresh baked pastries, light snacks, wraps, sandwiches, soups, salads, and sweet treats. We also feature two (2) high tech meeting rooms that can be rented for a nominal fee. Included in the rental fee is free Internet access, a 42" plasma screen for presentations, speaker phone, 4' x 6' whiteboard, as well as food trays and beverage service. The smaller room seats 18 comfortably, while the larger rooms seats up to 25. Reservations are required for for conference room usage.
Our deli features tasty specialty sandwiches and wraps designed by our staff and by customer suggestion -- while our suggested menu items are delicious on their own, they can also be customized to your liking. Other menu items include gourmet soups, quiche, nachos, bagels, and numerous daily specials.
